  •   Do I need to provide Contracts of Employment for my staff?
    • Yes within two months of them starting work
  • When can an employee claim unfair dismissal?
    • After two years service?
  • When can an employee claim discrimination?
    • From day one of employment
  •   Do I have to agree to taking a maternity leaver back part-time if their previous role was full-time?
    •  No but you must consider their request within a reasonable time period (two months) and give one of 8 business reasons why you are turning it down
  • What notice period do I have to give to dismiss someone?
    • Either their Contractual notice or one week per year of service up to a maximum of 12 weeks (whichever is greater)
  • How much holiday should a full-time employee get per year?
    • 20 days per annum plus bank holidays
